I create vessels and sculptures through wheel work and handbuilding, guided by intuition and by a deep relationship with clay, glazes, and the environment around me. My work exists between the raw and the refined — drawn to texture, to creatures of the earth, and to the subtle irregularities of materials. Inspired by the ocean, the mountains that surround me, the materials available locally, and the classical forms of ancient ceramics, each piece emerges from the interaction between matter and process.
